The spontaneous and first session of The Next Big Bang was held on 13 November 2010 at Standing Sushi Bar at 8Q Sam. The event was indeed quite a bang. Here’s why…

We managed to filled up the seats at Standing Sushi Bar, so that's the first bang.

The food was great so that's the second bang!

The Swag Pool was quite a bang too! 95% cleared by end of event! Photo by Hisham.
The greatest bang of all was how the speakers were so inspiring and passionate about their sharing and also the support of all those who came. Without these two power combined, an event will never be a success. Kudos to everyone!
The day’s line-up went something like this…

The session started with Daniel Goh from Young Upstarts, who shared his vision of what’s going to be the next big thing in the years to come. He summed up nicely into six groups (as shown in the photo above). You can find his presentation slides here.

Next up was Howie Chang, who shared about how the next big bang can be done better with the right user experience. His slides on slideshare.

Brian Ling from Design Sojourn gave an inspiring talk on entrepreneurship and how he took his steps towards starting his own company.

Jon Yongfook gave us a preview of his new project Littlecosm, an emotional-base game played with your Twitter account. Coming soon in Christmas! Find his slides on slideshare.

Lastly, we had Todd Kurie (extreme left in photo) shared how MyCube will be the next big bang to look out for, especially those who are interested to find ways to monetize digital content. He put it as “the ebay for content”. Sign-up at MyCube now to get first mover’s advantage when they release their private beta in Jan2011.
